Per Extra Innings Softball, new AD Dan Radakovich was asked about adding softball (Miami is one of two ACC programs that doesn’t play) and responded that “It’s something we need to look at.”

Per the article, “While adding a softball program at Miami has been much-discussed in some athletic circles for some time, Radakovich is uniquely positioned to answer such a question. For the last near-decade, he served as athletic director at Clemson and shepherded the start of the Tigers’ softball program from day one. That project included hiring a coach, building a stadium, and marketing the program in its infancy, all of which Radakovich and Clemson accomplished to high acclaim.”

It will be interesting to see how this plays out.
